Downleit Electornics is a professional company established based on the technology developed at the Downleit Research Institute. There is no accurate reference to when, where, and by whom the Downliet Research Insititute was founded. Only the overgrown legendary rumor (that the institute developed a‘devil machine'), recently excavated highly probable materials, and the barely passed down technology exist for us to assume the Downleit Electronics'unbelievable skills and experiments that will amaze mankind.
According to the stories from the past, it appears that the Downleit Research Institute was founded in a small town called Franzheim in Germany around early 20 th century, when ‘the shock of the new' hit Europe along with the beginning of Modernism (unfortunately, the city is completely lost so that it is impossible to even confirm its existence). It has been told that the Downleit Research Institute was established to cure the mentally deranged patients in the beginning of a century when humans dreamed of a new future. Back then, although there were numerous patients with mental illness in Europe, no adequate treatment was developed. The government of Germany attempted to treat the mental disease, mobilizing all the cutting-edge scientific skills, and secretly supported the brain manipulation project, which became the foundation of the Downleit Research Institute. The best human resourceswere gathered at the institute and developed an innovative mean to cure the mental disease based on the full support from the government. It was to project special electromagnetic waves to the patient's brain. To go through clinical demonstration of the machine that transfers the wave to the brain passing the external skin, the institute gathered mental patients from all over Europe. All the patients were the ones with severe illness rejected by other medical centers. For the first few cases, the treatment was incredibly effective. However, an Italian researcher who took care of the patients made a fatal mistake while operating the levers such that the electromagnetic waves were projected too long to one of the patients. The patient blacked out and lapsed into a coma, and the experiment was immediately ceased. After few days, the patient recovered his consciousness, but, as a side effect, he lost all his memories since he was 10 years old. He was very dejected, and could not lead a life as a normal human being. The researchers were not a little disconcerted. Yet, with the pride for the highest technology in the world, they began to work on a new plan with an inversed idea: to inject new memories to the patient's brain. The team members in deed were the co-founders of the Downleit Electronics, who confidentially carried forward the project with a horizontal organization culture that cannot be found elsewhere. They were covered in veil, not even knowing each other. Finally, by combining the past Downleitian mechanism with today's technology and a form of artas an alternative to science, the project team produced a new outcome: the Mind Controller Memory Maker.
