Gaain Gallery currently presents the group exhibition of four young artists, YunSoo Kim, Sooyoung Song, KyungJa Jeong and TaeBum Ha. This exhibition is about a moment, which is a chance to bring back an ignored event or object, and an extension of aesthetic attitude when facing with art. If taking such attitude, we can meet an opportunity to newly discover or change an outworn idea or reality into a life in a different category through being absorbed in an artistic experience, and this chance is a purpose of the exhibition.
Raising a question, 'What is the life?', and including people's various answers in a form of innate passage, YunSoo Kim's work provides a time to be lost in thought with a scene of people. Sooyoung Song's sculpture and drawing is based on a moment of awareness when meeting with the world with similarity and sense. KyungJa Jeong's photo raises a question for essentiality of photograph in terms of a power to see an image itself. A video work by TaeBum Ha gives a place where to experience a fear of carelessness behind a beauty.
