His work, a concise scene with using blue acrylic colour on untreated canvas,  has asked and researched essence of painting, such as a property of matter and image, front and side, and the planar and realistic characteristics, and a way of existence, under the title 'layers of painting'. The artist express with various solutions which is progressed by a process of raising and solving a problem he has had. As reusing scrap paper or waste as well as fixing 'object' like a brush, mug, or baby shoes on 'art work', he shows that all works can be refurbished to make a new role for other works. Also, as bringing a term 'featuring' and making his work piled on another work, he attracts people's eyes by various attempts. 
The title 'refurb' is inspired by new marking concept. Refurb is shortened for 'refurbish', repackaged products which has been displayed or returned. Today, all art works in an exhibition become 'stock' since the new exhibition open. Even though audience requires new works and an artist suffer from complex about new images, but  replacing old image with new causes a vicious circle of excess images. Core of this exhibition is 'reproduction' of images which 'freshness' removed. 
People who want 'new art works' may disappoint with this exhibition. However, if having curious about 'reproduction' from his research for the essence and a way of painting, it would be a very interesting and fun event.
