Palette of Light by Jeong Lok Lee
by Kwanhoon Gallery
Location: Kwanhoon Gallery
Date: 4 Jun - 1 Jul 2014

Kwanhoon Gallery is pleased to announce a solo exhibition entitled 'Palette of Light' by Jeong Lok Lee.
Using exposure since a mid of 2000, Jeong Lok Lee's photography has been developing through Private Sacred Place (2009). The artist focuses on forming lights in each branch on a tree in Jeju Islan, and announced 'Tree of Life'(2010). Recently, 'Tree of Life in Island'(2013) shows richer colors and light concentration.
The artist systematizes three kinds of light - nature light, flash and searchlight - and develop data for completing photo. As struggling with changing light and the air everyday, the artist could take a photo of 'impression by life' from a withered branch.
The exhibition will feature his work series focusing on 'light.'
