Gallery Tsubaki is proud to present a solo exhibition featuring new works of Sachie Horigome. This is her second exhibition at Gallery Tsubaki.
Sachie Horigome was born in Miyagi, Japan in 1981. Her motif is a glass bottle shows more diverse effects generated by light and light than any other material, and its refined transparency delivers not –depressed clear feeling. She focuses on glass as a tool to produce light shining around the space, rather than considered to describe transparency of glass as material realistically.
Therefore the picture causes a special dreamlike mood by color and light refracted and refracted by glass and gives an impression that the subject matter seems to be subsided dimly into the background.
