ASAGI NATSUME (Born 1971,Tokyo, Japan) is a contemporary Japanese artist.
She completed the Masters program at Tama Art University and currently lives and works in Tokyo. She was discovered by our gallery owner who was fascinated by her work and this is her second show in Gallery Tsubaki.
Her work often depicts imaginary solitary women. Her paintings have a great depth as she delicately layers many colors leaving the viewer with a sense of atmospheric forms which change with the light.
Her drawing hover between outer and inner vision of the world, like a ghost, and the viewer might feel something special in her painting.
