YAMAMOTO GENDAI  has irregularly introduced new and talented artists from a freely intuitive view under the title 'YAMAMOTO GENDAI  Future Feature', apart from representative artists. The gallery thinks featuring up-and-coming artists, who raise current social issues, and their movements are its mission.

'Tensai High School', or Genius High School, is the contemporary art class taught by Ryuta Ushiro, leader of the artists unit 'Chim↑Pom'. Currently in its third year, with the basic ideology 'Art is like mixed martial arts. Thus, if you know the ring and rule, then deserve to fight regardless of any talents,' groups and individuals in mostly 20s create and announce their art works continuously.

At 'Trans Arts Tokyo' in October last year, they have expressed contemporary realistic method to show off a special feature of a space, Tokyo Denki University, departing from usual routine of art, and it created such a sensation.
