ignore your perspective 25 - After Appropriation
by Kodama Gallery Tokyo
Location: Kodama Gallery Tokyo
Date: 12 Jul - 9 Aug 2014

Kodama Gallery currently presents a group show 'ignore your perspective 25 - After Appropriation.' The exhibition features works by Toru Otani, Hideyo Otsuki, Satoshi Kunimasa, and Fumihiro Takemura. Using ready-made products or existing images have been developing from Dadaism, Neo-dadaism and Simulationism to present as an important method or idea in art. These four artists extend such history but develop own ways.

In this exhibition, four artists do not use innovative technique but they are pioneering. In the contemporary society, when disorderedly shared images according to the development of media and network, the exhibition suggests new possibility and its result from an appropriate approach.
