Kodama Galleyr is pleased to announce 'ignore your perspective 21 - Study for Cynicalness.' The exhibition shows artworks by Maoya Kishi, Shintaro Kobayashi, Akane Morishita, Torawo Nakagawa, and Mayuko Wada.

Kishi's work consists of basic materials like wood and vinyl sheet. Even completed work cannot be identified his intention. Fun but unclear theme is characteristic of his work. 
Kobayashi creates an image arranged by photo development and inkjet printing technique. In this exhibition, he will announce 'Spinning Top' series which has been exhibited at the gallery in 2012.
Morishita works on painting with spurting-like images on canvas or veneer. Without a certain motif, the artist develops painting according to grain of wood or stain on canvas, and composes a scene by prominent lines and colors. Morishita will announce new works of the recent series on thin veneer.
Nakagawa's work involves variability in terms of concept and corporeality derived from fluid material like paraffin wax or oil ink coagulated on wire mesh, wood or rope.
Wada expresses an image itself in her mind. Using vinyl sheet for uncertain parts and veneer for clear ones so that she focuses on how the image look like in her mind rather than original shape. 

The exhibition will provide a chance to enjoy and explore the artists' intention and working process.
