As the first solo exhibition at Taro Nasu, Yoshimura will exhibit mainly new plane works and film. Yoshimura visualizes a sense bringing 'dislocation' consciously, such as 'ambiguousness', 'delicacy', and 'a gap', or unconsciousness happening in real life, to suggest uncertainty of human awareness.
When studying design at Chiba University, Yoshimura got a question for the intrinsic purpose of 'Universal Design', so that he selected 'the national flag of Japan', which is recognized as 'universal image' to him, for the main theme.
According to 'national symbol', or 'the public's will of identity' (retrieved from prime minister's speech), he adopted the Japanese flag, which should be fixed as established ideology, into his work to express vagueness the image has.
The humors work attracts people with bitterness. Away from existing concept, his work draws hidden inner minds out so that it provides a chance to see the 'truth'.
