Taro Nasu is pleased to feature Yuki Tawada's new artworks from 6 July to 4 August. Yuki Tawada was born in 1978 in Shizuoka, and studied Biochemistry at Tohoku University and attended University of California, Fine Art on an exchange scholarship. In 2005, Tawada graduated from University of the Arts London Camberwell College of Arts, and came back to Japan to study for a master's degree and Ph.D. Tawada has done artworks as expressing new images from damaged photographs' surface. In this exhibition, 10 art pieces of the new series 'Shells', recreated images through layered burnt photographs, will be showed.
