Kiyoshi Kawashima got support from Asian Cultural Council from 1986 to 1988, and participated in P.S.1 project in New York. He has participated in many group shows including 'Observation' at Iwaki City Art Museum in 1933, 'Japan in 1990s - Suggestions from 13 artists' at Folklore Museum in Rome, and 'Art Today 2000 - from 3 retrospective' at Sezon Museum of Modern Art in 2000. He has announced artworks actively through solo exhibitions. Currently he is one of representative sculptors in Japan.
Kawashima has announced more stately sculptures made of iron, copper, wood, and plaster but recently extended his interest to copper print. In this exhibition, he will announce 14 recent copper prints.
