Born in 1980, Nobuhiro Hanaoka graduated Kyoto Seika University master's program in 2005, and received a special prize from Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Prize.
The title of the new exhibition 'Immaterial excretion' is inspired by works of l'art brut. That means, an action from instinct of a life, a trace of it. Nakaoka's work always delivers humor as well as a sense of incompatibility continuously.
His work displayed at Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum from August to October also got a great attention.
