We are delighted to announce that G/P gallery is exhibiting photographer/visual anthropologist Chihiro Minato’s photo exhibition “ATLAS02: Super Nature”.  Chihiro Minato has been working on wide variety of themes, including the relationship between the emergence of images and the memory, since he started out his career as a photographer/ critic in 1985. As the special photo exhibition “anima on photo” shows, which he co-curated with Shigeo Goto at the Unseen Photo Fair Amsterdam in September this year, his current project deals with the re-imagining of Japanese photography from the perspective of anima. This exhibition will be a photo essay which looks at both the magic of “transforming” nature and the theme of “Super Nature” itself. On this occasion, G/P gallery is also organizing a talk show which will feature a number of slides documenting how the exhibition “anima on photo” was installed. We hope that you will be joining us.
