G/P gallery will hold the long-awaited solo exhibition of photographer Takashi Kawashima. Kawashima has been selected for art award tokyo marunouchi awarding exhibition 2011, and received the Grand-Prix at TOKYO FRONTLINE PHOTO AWARD with recommendation by Fumio Nanjo (Director of Mori Art Museum) last year. More recently Kawashima participated in the art-and-charity programme “KISS THE HEART”, and he devoted all his energy to present a photographic installation at Shinjuku Isetan’s show window. For Kawashima, photography is at the core of his creation, and he continuously challenges to expand the possibilities of the media as contemporary art. We are delighted to present the creativities of this young talented artist.
