Wada Garou Tokyo proudly presents Ryuji Taira's most recent works in a solo exhibition that will be held from the 18th of October to the 6th of November. We welcome you to experience the vague and interesting inaccuracy of Taira’s platinum palladium prints, his chosen form of expression.
The artist was born in 1960, in Kumamoto, Kyushu area of Japan. After learning photography at the College of Art of Fukuoka, he continued studying the art from Mr. Tadashi Takamura. He worked as a Commercial Photographer in Tokyo before going back to studying. It was first at the Fine Art Photography in 1988, where he also joined the Fotoshpere Fine Art Photo Workshop in New York. He then learned alternative printing from Mr. Koichiro Kurita. Later, traveling between Tokyo and New York, he started working for the Fine Art Photographer. Today, his works has been exhibited in many places around the globe, thanks to which he became a world-renowned artist.
