In December 1961 Tokyo Gallery held an exhibition titled micro salon, which showcased abundant small-scales works by 21 artists, including Hudertwasser, Sadamasa Motonaga, Taro Okamoto and Kazuo Shiarga, on the gallery walls. micro salon revived in December of 2010 as an exhibition that commemorated the 60th anniversary of Tokyo Gallery + BTAP and was met with favorable comments and reviews by our guests and media. To respond to our customers and friends’ enthusiasm, we have decided to organize micro salon as a year-end annual event that would be held each year in December. 

micro salon 2014 will exhibit works by both Japanese and international artists that are currently represented by the gallery. A reception party will be held on December 6th with the presence of the artists.

We hope that micro salon 2014 will become a new meeting space for our guests and artists from different generation and region.
