In the show of "Portraits", Go Watanabe continued his "Blank/pale" tone, and extend it into a series of portraits, which are faces of several female models without any dress-up and powder, just keep their large eyes wide opened.
Watanabe created this series of "portraits" by overlapping the images of real person's faces onto 3D faces that computer already generated, printed out with semi-transparent film, and finally mounted onto light-box.
The series of faces confront it's viewers with a sense of "standing in-between reality and illusion", which may give rise to our series thinking on the boundary of human's existence, position, or even self-cognition...
