We are pleased to announce to have solo exhibition of Masae Kariya.

Not only the painting, but also the video work will be shown at this exhibition. That video work is based on her own performance.

Kariya said “I want honest representation of more barbaric, more emotional, more fertile and wilder chaos like a monster extended from myself. Not only going forward to the development and evolution, I want to try continuing to look for the way of coexistence with chaos which never stay in something particular but changing shape constantly.”

Her works are casting doubt on existing stereotypes that seem to have already decided or seem to be right.
