monooto / otodoke
by TRAUMARIS Art Space
Location: TRAUMARIS Art Space
Artist(s): eje
Date: 7 May - 12 May 2013

Artist group 'eje' has expressed various objects in sound, and their work 'monooto(sound of object)', exhibited at TRAUMARIS and SUNDAY ISSUE in 2012, received an award from '16th TARO Award' this year.
In May, 'eje' will exhibit the new works as well as 'monooto.' In addition, the performance 'otodoke (embodied sound)', experiencing tea, video, and music in a small canopy, will be held four times during the weekends.

When you go out with the favorite music and realize ordinary sky and street look like a scene from a movie, haven't you been tearing somehow?

eje's work has been started from a question 'All objects in the world are nothing more than empty and superficial things.' They think music is the most appropriate media to bring back memories or emotions hiding in unconscious
