TRAUMARIS is pleased to introduce Kohei Nawa’s second exhibition since 2004.
 New painting series ‘Direction’, which has been introduced at Arario Gallery in Seoul and at Hankyu Umeda in Osaka in 2012, and new torso sculpture ‘Trans’, and ‘BEADS’ will be displayed.

‘Direction’ consists of precise parallel stripes which run towards one direction and it is ultimate two-dimensional work by human hands. Also, for ‘Trans’, he used 3D modeling system, a device using the sense of touch. The icon of his works, ‘BEADS’, curves form and light of material dazzlingly as covering a surface of stuffed dear with glass beads, so that crystallinity is stood out.
‘Direction’ and ‘Trans’ are first exhibited in East Japan in a way of solo exhibition.
