Tim Barber is known for his elegantly composed observations that locate complex beauty in the seemingly mundane. His images create interwoven narratives that are as generous to the viewer as they are mysterious. From portraits to landscapes to narrative scenes, Barber approaches all of his subject matter with a palpable delicacy. For his third solo exhibition at Yuka Tsuruno Gallery "Relations" , Barber will show 23 previously unreleased works, and will release his latest monograph, also titled "Relations", edited and designed by Barber himself, in conjunction with the show. Tim Barber was born in 1979 in Vancouver Canada, grew up in Western Massachusetts, and now lives in New York City. Known equally for his curatorial practice as he is a photographer.
