After solo exhibitions by Haraguchi Noriyuki(2009), Asakura Setsu(2010) and Tadashi Kawamata(2012), BankART Studio NYK will be presenting fourth solo exhibition series. Japanese representing artists, Shintaro Tanaka, Kenro Ogazaki and Kodai Nakahara are selected for an upcoming exhibition. Tanaka is a member of Neo-dada, he has announced 'dot, line and side' series. Inculding Shiro Kuramata, he influences on designers and architects. Starting from small sculptures made of foam polystyren, he has announced nonorthogonal sculptures using polypropylene and patchwork-style works, and also showed various talents through landscape design, architecture and critique. Kawamata has announced large scale sculptures using clay, lego and other soft materials, and affected on contemporary artists. Selected artists are from different generations and have own style but they have suggested 'something not add a new meaning' in common. Each artist will announce 6 to 15 artworks in a form of solo exhibition.
