This exhibition, entitled “R42”, will show the photographs taken at Kumano Kodo, a series of ancient pilgrimage trails in Mie Prefecture. Kido travels around the Kumano and captured the scenery of such as seashore, timber mill, and dilapidated landmarks. The photo carefully and intensely chosen by the artist will give the audience an altering look that is “extraordinary“ side of the sacred trails.
