This July, Taka Ishii Gallery Photography / Film will open at its new space in the AXIS Building in Roppongi, Tokyo, where it will expand its operations as a photography gallery and exhibit contemporary and historically significant photographic works in an approximately 80-square-meter space designed by akihisa hirata architectural office. The inaugural show “Japanese Photography: postwar – present” will run from July 5 to August 3 and include works by the artists listed below.
