That was a mountain and a river. Yesterday I was myself and a husband. by Nami Yokoyama
by Harmas Gallery
Location: Harmas Gallery
Date: 15 Mar - 26 Apr 2014

Nami Yokoyama got a prize at GEISAI #15 Award and she is currently participating in the exhibition 'Aichi Realism - Haru Miyawaki and His Milieu' as the only young artist. As working on still life mainly, Yokoyama shows respect for Japanese modern artists. Having sympathy for their perspective on daily motif, Yokoyama even focuses on bean sprouts. There is a small bean sprouts on her painting and it reflects on abundant lingering imagery from her life.
The exhibition consists of her bean sprouts series and new challenged paintings. This is her solo exhibition after two years.
