After visiting various places in Europe for three months in 20s, Takeshi Honda decided to settle down in Iwate province and draw Japanese landscape. Since 1990s, he has announced drawing with charcoal under the theme 'There is the mountain.'
In this exhibition, A series of a hollow, representing Honda's vision of the universe, and new works from 'the Moon' series will be on view. His works have been introduced many museums including Iwate Museum of Art, Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and The Drawing Center, New York.
