'OpenSky' is the 'hand made plane project' by the media artist, Kazuhiko Hachiya, since 2003. After a basic design or airframe, experiment model-making and flight experiment at lower altitudes, finally he starts aviating testing with loading jet engine.
Hachiya has worked with 3331 Art Chiyoda as the commission work artist, and for 'Sky pass' project and 'Geiger Counter meeting' about radioactivity issue after 3.11 earthquake.
For the exhibition, a glider and hand made aircraft will be on display. Also, private rocket project 'Rocket group in Summer' will introduce their works together.
