It is glad to present Yoshiaki Kuribara's Fantastic Eccentric Show with Dokuro All Stars, the solo exhibition of the energetic artist Yoshiaki Kuribara to be held in the sports hall of 3331 Arts Chiyoda. Taking "Theme Park" as his key word Kuribara will present numerous large scale works (both past work and new work) to form a highly original space within the sports hall. With support from the "Dokuro All Stars" the exhibition space will be activated through performance and film screenings. Proposing a new concept of exhibition making, utilizing a space of 622m2, with a height of 6.7m, it is sure to be a giant show!

Who are Dokuro All Stars?
Dokuro All Stars is a term used for members of the organization "Dokuro Kogyo" of which Kuribara is also a member. Dokuro Kogyo is a new platform aiming to support artists through conveying the importance freedom. Forming a new kind of system its members aim to concretely realize the function of art within society, through testing various different enterprises, led by Satoshi Okada, the art collector and director of MAGIC ROOM???

Taking place at the same time!
On the first floor "3331 Gallery" will be simultaneously presenting "Yoshiaki Kuribara's Drawing Exhibition", providing the opportunity to view the drawings which Kuribara creates on a daily basis.

About the Artist

Born 1980, Gumma prefecture. Currently undertaking a doctoral course at Tokyo National University of the Arts. Holding the firm belief that artists must be the embodiment of freedom, he refrains from any particular style embracing sculpture, painting, installation, video, performance and film, pursuing a multitude of expressions with a strong will to create.
