There is a means of grasping an ambiguous concept or space by dividing it into parts and setting boundaries. This is a creative process of investing in cultural meaning and achieving a world by drawing things distant to a place close at hand.
Paradoxically, it might also be said that the world can only be grasped after it has been separated into parts and boundaries assigned.
However, even if it isn’t possible to grasp an obscure notion or space with words without breaking it into smaller parts, it is possible to perceive it with the eye.
For some reason, I feel that the world of things beyond our grasp is somewhere close at hand.
