Since graduating from the Sculpture department of Kanazawa College of Art, the artist Dai Hijikata has continued to develop his artistic practice while managing the artist run space Toiyamachi-studio. Taking "fused landscapes" as his theme, in this exhibition he presents scenes born from communication found in the crystallization and harmonization of the fragments of thoughts and actions gathered in everyday life.

"Fading In"
Searching for a bright place... Where can such a place be found? How can such brightness be felt? Shifting between action and idleness, distilling the relations and materials gathered here, Hijikata sets his finger upon an ever changing space of light.
