"Sosho" is the most cursive style of calligraphy of kanji. Out of "Sosho" came hiragana, the unique form of Japanese syllabary. As a young calligrapher just entered into the career, I was intensively working on sosho writing. It is 35 years since I started my career as a calligrapher, and 20 years since my first solo exhibition. In this meaningful year to me, I present you my sumi-world exhibition. "Back to the Roots," in which my new "Sosho" works are featured. Witness the new beginning!
