Drifting Images

This photo exhibition entitled "Drifting Images, Korea x Japan Exchanging Exhibition" is the culmination of a Japan-Korea cultural exchanging project by the photograph, of which we, Art Autonomy Network [AAN], has teamed up with Art Center, BODA, in Seoul, Korea, and it has been ongoing since August 2011. Katsuhito Nakazato, Hitoshi Kuriyama and Shoko Ogushi from Japan, Jinhwon Hong and Sungmin Kang from South Korea will exhibit their original photography works are produced in the short stay in each country.

Also, the results of the photo workshops, were held in Seoul and Tokyo as relevant to each of the project, are also exhibited. Especially, the workshop in Tokyo, was held in Asakusa, called "ASAKUSA shashin-kanko (ASAKUSA photo tourism)", must be special interest to the you, visitors, in that all the participants have taken a unique perspective and it is different from the conventional sightseeing photographs.

It would make us, all the artists and the participants of workshop, very happy if this project inspires the visitors to gain the better understanding of a culture and life between Japan and Korea, and further more, to explore the depth of mutual originality and identified photography through this exhibition.
