In 2011 the gallery was astounded at the overwhelming substance of water, and keenly inspired with awe towards nature. The year 2012 is a year of dragon in Japan and many other Asian countries, in terms of the Oriental zodiac. From ancient times, an imaginary animal dragon has been respected by Asian people particularly as a sacred animal and as a god of water in folk religions. In China, the Huang or the Yellow River is compared to as a great dragon, and “Qi” or spiritual & vital energy is supposed to flow on the dragon's trail in the feng shui tradition. Sending the year 2011 off quietly, let's look ahead to imagine a great dragon to appear. We wish every one of you a Happy New Year with hope for the future.
