Takafumi Hara has studied at Tama Art University and worked in Berlin and Tokyo. Hara works with various media like painting, video and installation, and presented a big project 'Project Pink' in biennales of 12 cities in Europe, South America and Asia. His expression from dynamic activities is reflected on painting. Her painting consists of 'text' and 'picture,' and it has had a high opinion with lyrical and detailed expression and pictorial originality. 'Text' in painting is composed of some words she heard in a daily life and her own language. And those words contain nuance representing contemporary society. Also, her language is expressed as motifs - wolf, crow, girl, candle, etc. - with each meaning. 

For this exhibition, she announces drawing from her idea note as well as paintings. Called 'small note,' 20 colored sketches were created between 2007 and 2009, and the series was popular at international art fairs.
