Eikoh Hosoe was born in 1931 and held his first solo exhibition in 1956. Famed for his portraits of figures like Yukio Mishima and Tatsumi Hijikata, his images became representative of the postwar period. This exhibition includes many of his masterpieces that dissect the era, divided into six periods.
