Aisho Miura Arts is pleased to present the new exhibition “Hallucinations” by Kazuma Koike.

Koike born in Kanagawa(1980),lived in Buenos Aires from 1986-1992, Barcelona from 1995-1998. Came back to Japan and graduated from sculpture department in Nihon University College of Art.

Koike has been representing unique sensibility with meticulous continuing spots painting, sculpture and video works. In this exhibition, we will represent Koike’s huge work of earlier watercolor paintings and new works.

The every motif used in paintings in this exhibition is things Koike has actually seen. Koike finds a new aspect of things in daily life and make them emerge intriguingly in the work.

There will be an opening reception with the artist in attendance on 18th May（Fri）18:00.
