by Art Front Gallery
Location: Art Front Graphics
Date: 4 May - 30 May 2010

Chihiro Kabata creates her artwork with ball - point pen by repeatedly drawing and overlapping lines to give the strength. Yuuri Kabata covers canvas by repeating strokes and patterns with her original method. However they have been working individually, they share the studio, and it is remarkable that not only the tone and color but the point of view of their work give us common impression.

Both of them give the extent of the picture with repetitive simple work. Although this simple method generates difference between each artworks, which might be the results of their well balanced instinctive judgment.

In this exhibition, their styles are assimilated to hold one title and sharing exhibiting space. Their new works may have been created in the stimulating environment, and It will be their chronological exhibition.
