Crossing the borderline between books and contemporary art with broader aspect, Hiroko Osugi derived her new work theme from 'Sai' which was founded by Shirakawa Shizuka, who is the Japan's leading authority of the origin of Chinese characters. 'Sai' is a form of bowl which was used for ancestral rites. Through her art works, Osugi asks us about the changes of sense and a root of realization.
