Gallery Hashimoto proudly presents and exhibition of international photographer ARAKI Nobuyoshi's "Shojo Sekai" (World of Girls). This series of photography is first exhibited in 1984 at Zeit Foto, most prestigious photo gallery in Japan.

In this exhibition, al the photo is vintage print as they were printed for the exhibition at Zeit Foto in 1984. The book in the same title has been out of print for many years and there is no plan for republication. So, this is the rare opportunity to see the actual works. You will encounter the girls with a hint of mature feminine aura captured into monochrome Araki's world for quarter of a century.
