Through the ages we have been living half of as “ night time”.
In this situation “light” controlled by humans went through a long evolution.
Lights can simply be divided into 5 categories. Most of the light sources are still used today in different situations. For us humans the modern society is an outcome of a long evolution period, but for lighting it is only a slight leap in its history.

The light of flames, by torches and candles, have soaked into the DNA of humans.
The modern gas lamps, which shine by the inflammation of air, were created seeking for stable lighting.
The incandescent lamps, which light up by burning its filament, have been around us for decades.
The efficient lighting of fluorescent tubes, is a result of electric discharge of electrons and the reaction of the phosphors.
The LED and EL lights, lights of the next generation, which shine by the reaction of the flowing electrons.

From a long period of flame, lighting has evolved with the invention of light sources, which gave birth to lighting equipments and its design. In other words, the lights have evolved along with the changing era. The lights made here are not the lights, that softly blend with time and space, but are the lights which were intentionally materialized.
