Clear Edition & Gallery is pleased to present the solo exhibition of Joji Nakamura. His new work is a series consisting of very simple and primitive lines. By composed lines, Nakamura tries to express 'a person' and delivers its feeling. A harmony of black presents the ambience of complicated person. The title 'Oxymoronic' means contradictory. Nakamura's works contain various directly-opposed ideas. There are simplified curves on complicated layers. As adding intricacy and depth to here, Nakamura creates 'complicated but plain' person.
