She paints large powerful works on canvas that, [according to a recent reviewer] bring to mind the omnipotent meditative characteristic of Zen experiences. She was selected to be a member of the Hanoi Fine Arts Association in 1997 and has already held several solo shows in Hanoi, France and the United States. Her works communicate ideas of loss and absence, growth and transition. The different textural effects and the arresting contrast of light and dark give her paintings a quality that almost seems to breathe, as well as a profound spatial depth.
