Tung Sheng-Ho, the winner of Salon Autumn 2009 of Chinese Artist-Excellent Achievement Award, first time Solo Exhibition「Creative Art-The Leading Trend」presented by X-Power Gallery. Tung Sheng-Ho, Born in 1964, graduated from Fu-Hsing Trade & Arts School in Taipei, Taiwan. Tung started up as an illustrator and commercial visual art designer with quite a reputation. In recent years, out of passion in creation Tung also received support from X-Power Gallery; he began to fully engage himself in contemporary art. Connecting traditionalism and modernism, his artworks feature exquisite brushstroke and are full of imagination, demonstrating distinctive illustrative styles.

Since 2009 to 2010 he has moved on toward international art world. He made his debut exhibition in Artexpo New York in USA, followed by ShContemporary 09 held in Shanghai of China and Art Palm Beach, Miami, USA in 2010. With a macroscopic worldview, Tung aspires to establish a spot of his own in the history of contemporary art. Recently, he’s artworks also selected from The 30th Hunting Art Prize, USA, 2010 Abstract EXPOsure Online Juried Exhibition, USA, 2010 Allied Arts Annual Juried Show, USA, 2010 DIMENSIONS 2010 A National Juried Fine Art Competition and Exhibition, USA, 2010 Personality, USA, 23rd Coastal National Juried Exhibition, USA.

Three different categories of Tung’s solo exhibition: First, Shadow Play- a memory recalled from childhood which expresses the artist’s idea of antique Shadow play art. Second, while using similar calligraphy based styling as the first, Tung expresses the structure of 2D or 3D to represent the idea of the real or unreal. Third, by way of a sketching technique, he uses limited paint to create a plentiful gradation.
