Here and there, how far could it be? The most remote distance is the one between mankind. As a matter of fact, art could be very near. It only takes one step for viewers to enter the world of art. However, painters have to travel all the way to the corners of the world to find their own visions. From here to there, it could be so close as well as really faraway and it all depends on your ideas.

Artists on view in this exhibition, depict every page worthy of reading in the world with their pen brush. Yoshitomo Nara with childlike innocence whirls over the sky to present delicately the quality of openness and speed when soaring high. She takes viewers heading to the fantasy land by the fine wing of breeze. Gary Baseman, with his strong personal style, leaps out from the frame of soul and leads us to enter the outdoor playground created by him. It presents such innocent and playful quality while unwittingly reveals brutality and violence. The unidentified place further blurs the boundary between the reality and the imagined land. The happy Dongguri by Kwon Ki-Soo who driving those starry aircrafts flying in the color glittery sky. It's like an uninterrupted flow of vitality run over the infinite magic cosmos. The artist MR. recreates the memory of youth in summertime so lively and delicately with a not too overly sweet approach of "superflat" composition and cartoon & comic style. The space in the paintings by Zhang Qi-Qai is never fabricated one. The large panda opens the gate of time, freely shows up in those dreaming places behind palaces and attics, and becomes a surrealism traveler. Temperature, smell and sound ramble out from artworks by Jang Tarng-Kuh. The pen brush of realism style brings out a dream land-like scene. Where the wiggling path without ends is going? Is it going to where heart yearns for? Or is it bringing someone with yearning here?
