Since the Artist and its relevant career have been approved as an occupation in Taiwan, are the artists and critics playing a role as a creator with Holly hallo or as a part-time artists and critics needing to find another job to make a living? From nobody to a supernova, it’s hard to imagine how they face in every life stage.
“Who made those rules?” “Who can change this situation?” “Pink Coordinates” is going to present a wide range of conversations through both interactive media and the exhibition. Thus, Facebook, the most worldwide social networking service, has been chosen as the first stop of this exhibition. One of the curators, Lai, Chun-Chieh, addresses an imagination of introspection path. He not only directs a play to explore the people’s taste, but also discusses esthetics development, artists’ life and people’s imagination of art life from different perspectives.
The second stop is back to the “painting” as their exhibition subject. In this exhibition, 3 female artists will discuss the reality and self-existence they encountered, analyze their inner thought and label themselves in this enquiring plan.
Three artists and two critics will create a new pattern of conversation through short films、statements、Facebook and the exhibition to locate「Pink coordinates」in an art’s new generation. AKI Gallery sincerely welcomes you to join this exhibition on 9 April.
