The Winds that Come from Far Away

Yang Zhenhao was born in Yilan, Luodong of Taiwan. His mother move from Miao Li, northwestern of TaiWan to Yi Lan because of her marriage.

Growing up in Lou Dong, Yang Zhenhao always has an antipathy towards Hakka's culture and education brought by his mother, however, bear special complex in his mind about his culture-mixed life.

As a Taiwanese old saying goes"Zhu Winds while Lan rains". In this exhibition, Yang Zhenhao featured a series of photography as "The Winds that Come from Far Away" which serves as a metaphor of his mother coming from far away as a wind. The inspiration comes from the trivial bits and pieces of details in his life.
