During the residency in the Treasure Hill Artist Village Anna has encountered many obscure dreams strongly connected with this unique place and its rich, and often, dark history.
Dreams introduced vague images conveying deep emotions and curious sensations. Gently, they faded away, and unexpectedly occurred again in the ‘real’ life, leaving Anna in a state of lingering uncertainty and expectation.
The mood of the place and situation played an important role; alongside dreams they inspired Anna and became part of the creation - a series of paintings and drawings from the Treasure Hill. Captivating dark visions brought new narrative.
But with little or no light the Moon is still beautiful.
