Gallery 100 will be presenting a solo exhibition entitled 'Merrymaking' by Li Jin. 

Li Jin is one of the leading contemporary ink painting artists in China, whose artistic practice subverts the discreet rules in traditional Chinese ink art. Figures and food depicted in his works are simplified and transformed into animation-like styles, delivering visual pleasures to liberate ink art not only for the elite but also for the broader audience. Li Jin was born in 1958 and now works  and lives in Beijing.
