First time visiting south Ridge in march this year since it's mountain closing because of 2009 terrible windstorm, I was astonished by the white landscape sitting there like a tough old lady after suffering servile years of hardships.

These years, I traveled snow mountains in north of China, a bit different sense of beauty attracted me with it's grand and peace, I see it as an extended joy and surprising  after "09 south Ridge visit".

When I paint those snow mountain which are now deep impressions in my head, I associate its figure to "ancient mean", it's a metaphor describing a deep, profound wisdom with tender appearance, white snow is not just a symbol of purity and honesty, it's more about a simple and unadorned temperaments.
